The development of the estate is intimately linked to the nursery business, for which our know-how is world-renowned. The vineyard extends over 68 ha and is planted on clay-limestone terraces outcropping flint in the commune of Vix in southern Vendée. The region's warm-temperate oceanic climate gives our vines the greatest ripening potential in the Vendée. As a wine nursery, we benefit from a wide diversity of varieties and selections. This great diversity gives our cuvées a beautiful complexity and characterizes the style of our wines. All year round, for individuals and groups, 3 visits are possible, on reservation: 1. Sud Loire Expression. 10€/person In this package, a member of our team is entirely dedicated to you. We begin the visit in the vineyard with a detailed presentation of our terroir, our Domaine and the Fiefs Vendéens appellation. We also take the opportunity to discuss our vision of viticulture, the importance of plants in wine-making, and the implementation of sustainable viticultural practices that respect our environment. We continue our visit in the winery, where you can meet the team, discover our tools, the vat room and the bottling area, and discuss our winemaking methods and, through them, the profile of the wines we aim to produce. We end our tour in the cellar for a commented tasting of 4 of our wines. At the end of this "Sud Loire Expression" private tour, the domaine will hold no more secrets for you. 2. Birth of the Bubble. 10€/person With this package, a member of our team is entirely dedicated to you. We're still the only ones in the Vendée region to master this know-how, which is also found in Champagne. This tour takes us directly to our cellar, where we show you all the stages involved in producing our Traditional Methods. You'll learn all about prise de mousse, riddling, on-the-fly disgorging and liqueur dosage. We'll also discuss the differences between "Pétillants, Crémants, Champagnes and Mousseux". We'll also take the opportunity to discuss our vision of viticulture, and the importance of plants in wine-making, as well as the implementation of sustainable viticultural practices that respect our environment. 3. Nursery trade. 10€/person In this package, you'll discover the very specific world of the Wine Nursery through a private visit that's unique in the Vendée and maybe even in France! This is your opportunity to understand what makes our company the World Expert in this sector. We'll take you through all the stages involved in producing a grapevine plant, and explain the specific features of this essential but little-known activity. The production of rootstocks and grafts, stratification, grafting, nursery follow-up, sorting, etc.... will hold no secrets for you. We'll also look at the role of plants in the production of today's and tomorrow's wines. These tours last around 1h30-2h and end with a tasting of Domaine wines. For groups of 2 or more.
