To remember
There's the Muscadet region, which includes the whole family of AOC wines from the Nantes vineyards. And then there's the Muscadet AOC, an official appellation since 1937. This Muscadet stretches from the Atlantic to the gates of Anjou, from the Loire to the Vendée, and encompasses 1,300 hectares of vines. The mosaic of the AOC's subsoil, based on the Armorican Massif and made up mainly of eruptive or sedimentary rocks such as gneiss, micaschist and gabbros
