GAEC MARTIN

GAEC Martin is a family estate with 28 hectares of vines in AOC Anjou, Coteaux du Layon and Savennières. Luc and Fabrice Martin are the 4th generation of winegrowers in the family. These two enthusiasts set up together in 1997, taking over from their father and uncle. In terms of vineyard management, Luc and Fabrice began ploughing the soil 3 years ago, in order to abandon the use of chemicals authorized in conventional farming. They plan to convert to organic farming in 2022. In the cellar, they have always vinified with indigenous yeasts (yeasts naturally present in the grapes) and minimize the use of sulfites to preserve the brilliance of their wines.
