The Touraine Chenonceaux vineyard covers both banks of the Cher, in 25 communes in Indre-et-Loire and Loir-et-Cher. Concentrated on the upper slopes, it is characterized by "Perruche"-type clay-silica soils, flinty sands and calcareous soils.
