Sacy

Introduced in the Loire Valley, it is mainly grown in the Yonne and Cher regions. Although less well known than other Loire grape varieties, it is used to produce dry white wines and sometimes in blends to add freshness and acidity.

Sacy produces light dry white wines with moderate acidity. It is appreciated for its delicate aromas and its ability to add vivacity to blended wines. Its wines are generally drunk young to take advantage of their freshness.

Sacy, the surprise guest of Loire Crémants. It used to be called "Tressot blanc" and now flourishes  in small quantities in our basin to bring freshness and vivacity to sparkling wines. If you like fine, elegant bubbles, keep an eye on this discreet but impactful grape variety!
